On October 21, 2020 Station 51 was dispatched to 6 St James St for an electric car in the garage that was on fire. The initial dispatch was Stations 51, 23A, 23B, and 57. Deputy Chief 51 arrived and had visible fire showing and transmitted the working fire. Command upgraded the box and brought in Spotswood Station 71 for a RIT Team, Jamesburg Engine 42, and Helmetta Engine 36. Everyone got out of the house safely and crews did a fantastic job making a good stop on the fire. We would like to thank Monroe PD and Monroe EMS for the assistance on scene. We would also like to thank Englishtown Volunteer Fire Department, Plainsboro Volunteer Fire Department, and Millstone Volunteer Fire Department for covering the town while crews were working.
